I'm David Suffern and I'm the IKMF Director of Canada. I have been training and teaching Krav Maga since 2014 and have a rank of Graduate Level 5. I have a been in the military, law enforcement and security for over 35 years and teaching Defensive Tactics for over 25 years. I took all forms of martial arts over the years to keep myself safe in my various careers, but when I discovered Krav Maga, it was exactly what I was looking for. It was a practical, cohesive system that covered all types of attacks. Now, I'm focused on helping IKMF Krav Maga grow across Canada, because I truly believe it is what every Canadian needs to stay safe.
